Barbara, love this feature–giving us a quote with suggested links to learn more. I enjoyed visiting the links, loved this line from Bitch Media: “Sappho did not exist to facilitate anyone’s art but her own…” Just a concept to consider. There’s motherhood, and then there’s the habit of mothering…and then…there’s one’s muse. I might just take a day or two a week to try to be selfish in that way.
