Basia Irland’s Prolific Ice Books
What are ice books, and what do they have to do with art and creativity?
Basia Irland embeds local native riparian seeds in beautiful ice sculptures and, working with local communities, releases them into rivers to reseed the river banks. In this five-minute video, you can see her ice books being made and released into the water.
Listen to the rivers. Reflect on your writing seeds. Write about the currents.
